Shopping for My Boys - Cookies Style!

Yesterday, I embarked on a mission...clothes shopping for my boys! I set out with a list in hand of what I needed:

  1. Underwear
  2. Pajamas
  3. Long Sleeved Shirts
  4. Jeans
  5. Sweaters
  6. Slippers

I took that list, packed my boys in the car and off we went to Cookies Kid! Upon walking into Cookies, which I had not been to since my eldest was a baby and he is now 14, I saw the bright sign for moms just like me...BOYS!!!

Down we went into the land of BOYS and I started to think about my list and what I would possibly find here. To my surprise, there were many trends and super sales. For me, when I shop for my boys, I think about what they need not necessarily what's in style. Like for my two year old, I know he is super active and into things, so I need to make sure what I get him is casualty friendly. Clothing doesn't last many wear with him. Now, for my six year old, he is more stylish but grows WAY too fast! I mean, every season I have to shop for him because he grows out of his clothes so quickly! So, when I shop for him, my focus is size and low cost because I know that in a few months, I will have to do this all over again! And finally, my eldest, he is 14, and a tall one so shopping at Cookies Kids is just about impossible to do for him! But we were able to pick up some much needed underwear...which definitely has boundaries. He will not wear briefs! He thinks they are hideous. So, even undergarment have a trend! Its boxer or boxer briefs only for him!

So, here I am in the midst of this huge store filled with name brands and not so name brands but all reasonable priced! This is my kind of store! Check out some of the awesome red tag sales and cool gear I found!

When we were all done shopping, we had filled two bags and spent $100! I have to say, for the merchandise I got and meeting my shopping criteria of quality at low cost, I got just that! I will definitely be shopping at Cookie Kids again. These are just my two cents, but they count! Now what are your two cents? Here are my bags and the great items I got!
